Keith, Renee and their kids spent ten years sailing the world on Zatara. On Saturday night at the Bon Voyage, we'll look back on their time at sea, how it changed their family, and what comes next. Come for the farewell, or come for the whole Summit.

The farewell dinner

Can I come to just the farewell?
Yes, you don't need a Summit pass. Event only is $97 per adult and $37 for kids ages 5 to 18. Event + dinner is $247 per adult and $97 for kids ages 5 to 18.
What do the tickets include?
Event only: the premiere of the final Sailing Zatara episode with Renee and Keith, plus Q&A. Event + dinner adds a buffet dinner and soft drinks. Alcohol is available at a cash bar.
When and where is it?
Saturday, January 9, 2027, at The Perry Hotel in Key West, where the Summit takes place.
I'm already going to the Summit. Do I still need a ticket?
No. The Bon Voyage and the Zatara farewell are part of your Summit ticket, so you can attend even if you're not having dinner. Dinner comes with the optional food package (lunch Thursday to Saturday, plus Sunday if you're going sailing, and the Saturday dinner). Didn't add food? Add it here.
Can my kids come?
Yes. Kids ages 5 to 18 are $37 for the event without dinner and $97 with dinner. Kids under 5 come free and don't need a ticket. If you're coming to the Summit, the Zatara farewell is included as part of the Bon Voyage event.

The Bluewater Summit

What is the Bluewater Summit?
Five days in Key West, January 6 to 10, 2027, at The Perry Hotel, for people who want to go cruising. You get education sessions led by real cruisers, including Bluewater Cruising co-founders Keith and Chris, a community of people making the same move, and time on the water.
Can I come for the whole Summit?
Yes, and we hope you will. The Summit pass covers all sessions, the welcome mixer, the Bon Voyage and Zatara farewell, and the Sunday sailing day. See Summit tickets.
How is the Summit different from a boat show?
A boat show is brand-new boats, polished displays and salespeople. The Summit is the opposite: real lived-aboard boats and the people actually cruising them, honest answers from cruisers with nothing to sell you, a full day on the water actually sailing, and a community behind you. You leave a boat show with brochures. You leave the Summit ready to go.
Do I need sailing experience?
No experience needed for Sunday sailing, and all levels are welcome. Keith took one sailing lesson before he sailed around the world.
